Rockland Transit Schedules for Presidents’ Day
The Rockland County Public Transportation Department has announced transit service schedules for Presidents’ Day on Monday, February 16. Most Transport of Rockland (TOR) bus routes will operate a Saturday schedule and TRIPS paratransit service will offer ADA service only.

Rockland Transit Schedules for the New Year’s Holiday
On Wednesday, Dec. 31, TOR and TRIPS paratransit will operate regular weekday service. On Thursday, Jan. 1, TOR will operate Sunday service on most routes with no service on TOR #94, 95 and 97. TRIPS will offer ADA service only. Regular TRIPS will not operate.

Rockland County Department of Health (RCDOH) Commissioner Dr. Mary Leahy advises residents that Rockland has confirmed 21 cases of measles in 2025, 20 which occurred since October.

90%+ of Violators Never Receive Second Ticket In County School Bus Safety Program
Bus Patrol data shows the program saw a 30.5% decrease in citations issued from the start to the end of the 2024-25 school year. Additionally, year-over-year reductions are down approximately 23%, with 90% of violators never receiving a second violation.
