Summer 2026 Conservation Corps Applications Now Open!
Applications are now available for Rockland Conservation & Service Corps Summer Program! Corps Members are paid a stipend to preform a variety of outdoor environmental, community service projects throughout the county. Upon successful completion of service Corps members receive an education award in the amount of $1,565.08.
Rockland Conservation and Service Corps (RCSC) is driven by a simple yet powerful motto: "Building Rockland Pride Through Service."
Our focus centers on educating, empowering, and inspiring passionate youth to build a better world by strengthening and enriching their community. Conservation Corps Members and volunteers lead the charge in preserving and safeguarding natural resources.

Intern With Us
Rockland Conservation and Service Corps (RCSC) is a conservation organization dedicated to promoting environmental stewardship and preserving, protecting, and enhancing Rockland’s natural resources.
RCSC offers an exciting summer internship from May to August for college-aged individuals passionate about environmental issues and outdoor work. Participants gain valuable hands-on experience in environmental conservation by building hiking trails, mapping storm drains, cleaning up rivers, and contributing to impactful public service projects throughout the region. Each participant earns a $3,500 stipend for this meaningful outdoor work, and upon successfully completing the program, Corps members receive an additional education award of $1,565.08.
Volunteer
Rockland offers a wide range of impactful volunteer opportunities, including building hiking trails, food recovery, stream clean-ups, citizen science, disaster preparedness, and staffing service events. Talented and dedicated individuals are needed to help bring these projects to life. Reach out to connect with some of the best volunteers Rockland has to offer. If the current opportunities don’t match your schedule or interests, referrals to partner organizations with similar projects can be provided.
