Continued Waiver of TOR and TRIPS Bus Fares
Fare collection continues to be waived and bus rides on the TOR and TRIPS bus services remain free at this time.
TOR 93- Annual Summer Detour, Desvío Anual de Verano, 6/20/26– 9/7/26
Transport of Rockland (TOR) bus route TOR 93 will be detoured to serve the Spook Rock Swimming Pool daily from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. TOR bus routes go to many County, Town and State parks and swimming pools. To plan your trips, check out maps and schedules on this site.
Beginning Saturday, June 20th until Monday, September 7th TOR 93 serves the Spook Rock Swimming Pool parking lot. When reading the TOR 93 bus schedule, Spook Rock Pool is between the times listed for Rockland Community College and Suffern High School. The pool is located on Spook Rock Road near the intersection of Viola Road in Ramapo.
TOR 93 operates daily between Sloatsburg, Hillburn, Suffern, Rockland Community College, Viola Road, Hillcrest, Spring Valley Marketplace, Nanuet and Pearl River. This seasonal stop will not change the rest of the TOR 93 schedule.

The Village of Nyack will be hosting the Nyack Famous Street Fair that will close Main Street between 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM on Sunday, July 12th.
The passenger pick-up location during the scheduled detour will be on South Franklin near Artopee Way.

West of Hudson Rail Customers: World Cup Match Day Information
NJ TRANSIT Rail Service Schedules
NJ TRANSIT (NJT) will be limiting access to trains between Penn Station New York (PSNY) and Secaucus Junction during FIFA World Cup matches, temporarily allowing only customers traveling to NYNJ (MetLife) Stadium during certain hours of the day. For customers traveling on the Main-Bergen, Pascack Valley and Port Jervis Lines who normally transfer at Secaucus for service to New York – trains will be bypassing Secaucus during this time and traveling direct to Hoboken Terminal. Customers may take PATH service from Hoboken to continue travel to New York. Metro-North Cross Honoring
MTA Metro-North Railroad has announced that they will cross-honor NJT tickets on designated FIFA World Cup match days for customers traveling to and from New York City. Customers holding valid NJT tickets from Port Jervis Line and Pascack Valley Line stations may use Metro-North Hudson Line and Harlem Line services, where cross-honoring is in effect.
On the following match dates at MetLife Stadium, Metro-North conductors on Hudson and Harlem Line trains will honor tickets from stations in Rockland County and Orange County:

Hudson Link Bus to Westchester Stations
Free bus service to the Hudson Line at Tarrytown Station and the Harlem line at White Plains is also available via the Hudson Link bus service. See the Hudson Link website for schedules and information: https://ridehudsonlink.com/
Parking at Metro-North Hudson Line & Harlem Line Stations
Driving directly to Metro-North Stations east of the Hudson is also an option, although parking may be limited depending on the station and additional parking fees may apply. See East of Hudson station parking capacities and fees here: https://www.mta.info/stations.
Customers with West of Hudson parking permits for LAZ-managed lots may use participating LAZ-managed parking facilities at Cortlandt, Beacon, New Hamburg, Poughkeepsie and North White Plains. Permits issued for non-LAZ-managed lots are not eligible for cross-honoring.
TOR #59 Detour - Route 59, Spring Valley
As per the NY State Department of Transportation (NYS DOT), the TOR #59 bus continues to be detoured and is unable to serve the section of Route 59 between the Exit 14 Park & Ride Lot and South Central Avenue in Spring Valley. TOR passengers can meet buses either at the Exit 14 Park & Ride Lot on the East end, OR at the intersection of Route 59 and South Central Avenue.

TOR customers are advised that NYS DOT will begin a bridge reconstruction project at this location on June 3, 2026 and the Route 59 bridge over Pascack Road will be closed to all traffic. As a result, TOR passengers should expect delays as all other vehicles will also be utilizing the detour route during construction.
Route 59 will be closed to traffic between New Clarkstown Road and South Central Avenue in the Village of Spring Valley, beginning Wednesday, June 3, at 7 a.m., through the end of summer, to facilitate a bridge replacement. See the NYS DOT advisory here.
Customers should also be aware that there will be no pedestrian access over the bridge during construction. NYS DOT had advised that taxi service will be provided to shuttle pedestrians around the construction area.
NYS DOT had previously established a weight restriction on the bridge in 2020 that restricted the types of vehicles that could safely cross the bridge and TOR buses were among the larger and heavier vehicles that have been required to follow the detour since that time.

The New York Metropolitan Transportation Council (NYMTC) – the Metropolitan Planning Organization for New York City, Long Island, and the Lower Hudson Valley – has completed the public input process for the new Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) - Moving Forward 2055!
The Plan covers all modes of surface transportation from a regional perspective including highways, roads and bridges, streets, rail and bus transit, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, movement of goods, and transportation for people with disabilities. In addition, it addresses key transportation activities such as operations and management of the transportation system, safety, security, and regional finances.
What is a Regional Transportation Plan?
Every four years, NYMTC staff and member agencies work with stakeholders and members of the public on a Regional Transportation Plan which serves as a blueprint to guide federal investments in transportation.

NYMTC Completes Palisades Shared Use Path Study / NYMTC Completa el Estudio del Camino Compartido de Palisades
The New York Metropolitan Transportation Council (NYMTC) recently completed its Palisades Shared Use Path Study - a project that explored the feasibility of making connections between the George Washington Bridge and the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge safer, more intuitive, and more accessible for people walking, running, biking, and rolling.
