About our Director

Kimberly Von Ronn, Esq.

Born and raised in Rockland County, Kimberly Von Ronn has dedicated her career to public service. A graduate of Brooklyn Law School, she began her legal career as an Assistant Corporation Counsel with the New York City Law Department, later serving as an Assistant District Attorney in Rockland County. She went on to serve as municipal attorney for both the Town of Clarkstown and the County of Rockland, where she played a pivotal role in launching the Rockland County Office of Buildings and Codes—an unprecedented initiative assigned to the County by the New York State Department of State.

In 2023, Kimberly was appointed by County Executive Ed Day as Director and Public Advocate of the Rockland County Office of Consumer Protection. In this role, she is committed to safeguarding residents through community education, licensing support, and strong enforcement. Her outreach includes educating community groups on scams and fraud, assisting contractors in obtaining the proper licensure for home improvement and other contracting businesses, and ensuring fair and consistent application of the law. She also continues to ensure that her staff provide the highest level of service to constituents by pursuing ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Driven by her deep roots in Rockland County and lifelong commitment to service, Kimberly continues to protect and advocate for the community she proudly calls home.
