The Rockland County Office of Community Development receives Leading in Lead Prevention Pilot Program funding from the New York State Department of Homes and Community Renewal. The Leading in Lead Prevention Pilot Program funding is specifically for remediating lead hazards in buildings with two or more rental units within Rockland County.

The Rockland County Office of Community Development has also received the Lead Hazard Control grant with Healthy Homes Supplement from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes. This funding can be used for lead hazard remediation in both owner occupied homes and rental units in all areas of Rockland County. The Healthy Homes Supplement can be used in homes assisted with this grant to remove hazards that do not involve lead based paint. While this program is not currently accepting applications, we are anticipating opening applications in the coming months. If you are interested in applying, please fill out this form to be added to the notification list.
