“Today is a sad and deeply troubling day for our nation. The assassination of Charlie Kirk is a disgusting act that strikes at the very core of who we are as Americans.
Ours is a country founded on the principles of freedom of speech and the right to express differing views without fear of violence. Love him or hate him, no one deserves the tragic end that Charlie met.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and all those impacted by this senseless act.”
