Colorado Terror Attack Injures Eight People
Statement from County Executive Ed Day
“I am deeply saddened by the horrific attack that unfolded during a peaceful walk in support of Israeli hostages in Boulder, Colorado. Reports indicate the suspect used Molotov cocktails and a makeshift flamethrower while shouting hateful rhetoric, which injured eight innocent people.
On behalf of all Rockland County residents, I extend my heartfelt condolences to all the victims’ families, those at the event, and the entire Colorado community at this time.
There is no place in our country—or anywhere in the world—for this kind of hatred and violence and we should all stand united against any and all attacks on our country’s fundamental values of safety, freedom, and peaceful assembly.”
