County Executive Day Condemns New Orleans Attack

Statement From County Executive Ed Day 

“I am deeply saddened and outraged by the horrific attack in New Orleans that claimed the lives of at least 15 innocent people and injured dozens more. On behalf of all Rockland County residents, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the victims' families, the injured, and the entire New Orleans community during this unimaginably difficult time. I want to reassure Rockland residents that our law enforcement agencies are closely monitoring the situation. 

At this time, there is no indication of any immediate threat or risk to our community. Our local, state, and federal partners remain vigilant and committed to keeping our residents safe. Let us stand united against acts of terror and violence, and may we hold the people of New Orleans in our thoughts and prayers.”
