Citizen Preparedness Program
Join us on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Rockland County Office for the Aging, 50 Sanatorium Road, Building F, Pomona, for a New York State Citizen Preparedness Training Program.
With severe weather events becoming more frequent and more extreme, it is more important than ever that New Yorkers are equipped to prepare for disasters. This training provides an introduction to responding to both natural and man‑made emergencies. Participants will learn how to properly prepare for any disaster, including developing a family emergency plan and assembling essential emergency supplies.
Registration is required.
Rockland County older adults, age 60 and over, please register through the Rockland County Office for the Aging at (845) 364‑2100.
