County Launching Rock-Solid, Rockland County Marketing Campaign

New City, NY – On Thursday, Rockland County Economic Development & Tourism Director Jenna Nazario and County Executive Ed Day proudly announced the launch of the Rock-Solid Campaign, an ambitious destination marketing and economic vitality effort showcasing the county as one of the Hudson Valley’s most vibrant and opportunity-rich communities.
The Rock-Solid Campaign is designed to position Rockland throughout the tri-state area as an investment opportunity by highlighting its thriving small businesses, diverse downtown districts, scenic location within the New York Metro area, evolving built environment, and the local entrepreneurs who define the community’s character and growth.
“This initiative is part of a broader strategy to grow Rockland’s economy, which offsets the cost of essential services for taxpayers while strengthening the County’s downtown corridors and small-business ecosystem,” explained County Executive Ed Day. “Paired with our tourism efforts that saved the average household in Rockland $675 in yearly property taxes, this new initiative will build on that benefit to further help residents and businesses.”
The campaign will roll out through a robust, multi-platform marketing strategy that includes digital advertising, business spotlights, regional partnerships, community activations, and countywide promotional efforts. These elements will work together to elevate Rockland's potential to residents, investors, and visitors.
“This campaign is a celebration of what makes Rockland truly rock solid,” said Director Jenna Nazario. “Our businesses, our neighborhoods, and our people are the foundation of our economic strength—and this initiative will help us share that story with the wider region.”
A major component of this initiative is the introduction of the Rockland Rally Kits, a new business partnership program created to encourage local businesses and downtown districts to participate directly in the campaign. Kits will provide participating businesses with branded promotional materials, marketing assets, social media tools, window decals, and countywide visibility opportunities designed to amplify local engagement.
Through this program, small businesses will have opportunities to partner with the county, IDA, and RBA to be featured across campaign promotions, digital storytelling initiatives, community spotlights, and regional marketing efforts.
