The County of Rockland urges residents to take precautions ahead of the winter storm forecast to hit Rockland early Sunday January 25th into Monday, January 26th. The U.S. National Weather Service forecast is predicting widespread heavy snow across the northeast with potentially significant accumulations of anywhere between 12” to 20” depending on the terrain and the storm band. “I am horrified and heartbroken by the antisemitic terrorist attack at Bondi Beach in Australia, which targeted members of the Jewish community as they gathered to celebrate the first night of Hannukah.
At least 11 people were killed and many more injured in this despicable act of violence. Hate has no home – not in Australia; not here in Rockland County; not anywhere in the world.
