Job Description:

The Village of Wesley Hills is seeking a candidate to work in the Building Department to perform inspections to determine if there is compliance with local and state codes, if not, to take action to being about compliance.

NYS Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code Certification is required.

NYS Drivers License is required.

The work is performed under the general supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma and two (2) years of paid experience involving building construction, work in a building trade or in a position requiring familiarity with local and state zoning codes and ordinances.

Other Requirements and Information:

• NYS Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code Certification is required.
• NYS Drivers License is required.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary and benefits are competitive with the public sector market including but not limited to the following:

• $25-35 Hourly Salary
• 17 hour work week
