The East Ramapo Central School District has an immediate opening for a school lunch monitor. This position will assist with the distribution of lunch to students. There are two (2) shifts available. The first shift is 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and then 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The salary is $15.00 an hour, not to exceed three hours per day. Fingerprint clearance is mandatory, and the district will reimburse the cost of cleared fingerprints. 

Ability to understand and direct children courteously and firmly but tactfully; ability to speak well and clearly; ability to speak a language other than English if required*.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma

Note: Academic or vocational training or clerical experience may be substituted for high school on a year-to-year basis.

*To be demonstrated during the probationary period.

Salary and Benefits:

• $15.00 an hour
